Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I wanted to answer your question about substituting an oil in the lip balm. I'd say yes you can. I use Castor Oil in my soaps and have used Sweet Almond Oil in my lip balms too. I'd experiment with a small batch to see how I liked it. It's good to use up what we have before investing in more =)
